NNR UK announces new Managing Director.

NNR UK proudly announce the arrival of our new Managing Director, Mr Hitoshi “Bob” Tsutsuizumi.

Bob has a wealth of experience gained in a career which spans over 30 years with NNR. Bob has worked in both Asia and the USA and is excited about his new role as Managing Director in the UK.... Welcome Bob san!

We would like to wish our departing Managing Director, Mr Aki Osako the very fondest of good wishes as he departs for his new role as Managing Director of NNR Germany after 17 years based in the UK. Auf Wiedersehen Aki san.... und Danke schön!

 

NNR Centenary year.

Did you know 2008 marks the 100th year since NNR began. We will mark the occasion by offering our fabulous and long-supporting customers continuation of the excellent service levels they have become accustomed to for the next 100 years!

 

OCEAN - Peak Season Surcharge.

It has been confirmed by some the FEFC that the Peak Season Surcharge currently applied ($135 per TEU) will be withdrawn for sailings from Asia effective 18th February.

 

OCEAN - Port Congestion Surcharge.

It has been confirmed by some carriers and anticipated by others that the Port Congestion Surcharge currently applied ($145 per TEU) will be withdrawn for sailings from Asia effective 18th January.

 

NNR expands its UK Logistics functions.

NNR UK expanded further at the end of 2007 into the Logistics arena with the acquisition of 2 new customers taking advantage of a fully out-sourced warehousing and distribution solution. The package involves inbound Air and Ocean transport, carried within the NNR Global network to our UK Logistics facilities. Products are then managed through the unique NNR PowerNET warehouse management software (WMS) until called forward for dispatch electronically. Products are then pick-packed and despatched to the final customer and tracked to the customer’s door.

NNR is able to offer this type of solution in Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and the USA.

NNR Tracking & Reporting.

NNR has 3 levels of web tracking and reporting facilities available.

The most economical is the “Silver” level Locals Event Visibility which includes flight details and POD information with reporting tools.

The highest level is the “Platinum” Purchase Order Management facility that offers the above with many more advantages. These include receiving PO data electronically, accepting movement instruction electronically and giving full inventory information over secure web connections with unique Login and Password.
