OCEANFREIGHT - General Rate Increase.

As part of the Business Plan 2007 announced on 3rd November 2006, Member Lines of the FEFC advised that it has been decided that for cargo moving from Southeast Asia outports to North Europe, Baltic/Scandinavia and Mediterranean, the following Conference rate increase (GRI) is applicable for GP Containers from 1st July 2007:

Japan Ports: General Rate Increase: USD 200 per TEU.

Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Philippines: General Rate Increase: USD 450 per TEU.

All other SouthEast Asia ports: General Rate Increase: USD 300 per TEU.

OCEANFREIGHT - Peak Season Surcharge.

Further to the FEFC announcement dated 3rd November 2006, in view of the very strong cargo flows still being experienced in the North Europe and Mediterranean trade lanes and high demand for space, we confirm that the following PSS will apply from 1st August 2007:

From Asia (excluding Japan) to North Europe / Baltic / Scandinavia: USD 135 per TEU - until the 15th November 2007.

OCEANFREIGHT - 20' (twenty foot) container surcharge from SouthEast Asia.

Member Lines of the FEFC wish to announce that the 20’ Container Premium will be increased to USD 250 (rise from USD 150) for cargo loaded at the following North China Ports with effect from 27th June 2007: Yantai, Lianyugang, Dalian, Qingdao and Tianjin/Xingang.

OCEANFREIGHT - Heavyweight Container Surcharge.

We have further update of Steamship Lines surcharge for overweight "Heavy" 20' containers on the Far East/ SouthEast Asia Trade sector. The surcharges differ from one Steamship Line to another and our guideline is now as follows:

<Until July 15th 2007.>

14 ton to 18 ton: USD 150 per 20' FCL. Over 18 ton to 20 ton: USD 350 per 20' FCL. Over 20 ton is is by negotiation.

<After July 15th 2007.>

14 ton to 18 ton: USD 250 per 20' FCL. Over 18 ton to 20 ton: USD 500 per 20' FCL. Over 20 ton is by negotiation.
